You have 28 days to put right anything the report codes C1, C2 or FI, and to get written confirmation the work is done.
C1 means danger present and the electrician should make it safe before leaving. C2 means potentially dangerous. FI means further investigation is needed. C3 is improvement recommended, and that one you can leave.
If the report gives a shorter deadline than 28 days, that shorter deadline applies. You then give the confirmation to the tenant and, if they ask, the council.
